Ovarian Cancer is sometimes misdiagnosed as Hydrosalpinx

It has been reported that some patients have been misdiagnosed with Hydrosalpinx, when in fact the correct diagnosis in their specific case was Ovarian Cancer.

Ovarian cancer is cancer that forms in the ovaries. Symptoms of ovarian cancer include abdominal bloating or swelling, bloating, weight loss, pelvic discomfort, fatigue, back pain, constipation and a frequent urge to urinate. Ovarian cancer can be misdiagnosed as follicular cysts, Theca lutein cysts, serous carcinoma, endometriosis, teratoma, dysgerminoma, fibroma, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy.
