Anxiety is sometimes misdiagnosed as Menopause

It has been reported that some patients have been misdiagnosed with Menopause, when in fact the correct diagnosis in their specific case was Anxiety.

Anxiety can be challenging to diagnose as it can present in different manifestations. To help diagnose anxiety, a full medical check is done to exclude other conditions that nay cause the symptoms. A mental health professional is also required for a mental examination and assessment. Treatment options include psychotherapy and medications.
