Tonsillitis is sometimes misdiagnosed as Strep Throat

Always consult your doctor or health professional, and do not self diagnose.

Sore throat, difficult or painful swallowing, fever, enlarged and tender glands in neck, scratchy or muffled or throaty voice, red and swollen tonsils, white or yellow coating on tonsils, patches on tonsils, bad breath, stomach-ache, neck pain or stiff neck, headache

Symptoms are a guideline only and may apply to either the diagnosis or the reported misdiagnosis, or both. Consult your specialist for further information.
